Love Miracle Whip, but want to avoid soy and other undesirable ingredients? This the thing for you!
You can make your Rebel Whip vegan or however you like.
Ingredients: onion powder, unrefined salt (himalayan pink), baobab, acacia gum, smoked paprika, garlic powder
To make rebel whip at home:
- 1 egg yolk (omit if vegan or otherwise desired*)
- 1/2 cup palm oil (or choice of oil**)
- 1/4 cup mashed avocado
- 1 tbsp real maple syrup)
- 2.5 tsp Rebel Whip Salad Dressing Mix
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp mustard
*Vegan option: Use 1 tbsp of water, “milk”, or apple juice instead of the egg.
**You can use butter for the oil, which will give a nice flavor, but it lends buttery flavor to every dish.
Melt the oil, if solid. Allow to cool slightly. Place egg (or liquid of choice) first, then all other ingredients (except oil) into blender container or food processor. Blend. Slowly add oil. Blend until smooth.
To make a simple and flavorful vinaigrette using the Rebel Whip Salad Dressing Mix, simply mix the following in a bowl, carafe, jar, etc.:
- 6 tbsp olive oil (1/4 cup + 2 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp real maple syrup or honey (optional)
- 1 tsp Rebel Whip Salad Dressing Mix (or to taste)
